EMOTIONAL RELEASE

The Triad of Health has been described as an equilateral triangle consisting of Structural, Chemical and Emotionalequal sides. I think this truth should be self evident to all.

Everything that has ever happened to us is stored some place in our memory banks. Nothing is ever forgotten, yet most, if not all, of these events are not in activememory but are stored in various memory banks for future use or experience. We are usually totally unaware of their existence. This is necessary so that all of the memories of past things will not interfere with our present activities. We essentially work in a one track fashion. When we are doing this we are not doing that; when the light is on in one room it should be off in the others. Most of the time any deficits associated with a particular activity will only be a deficit under those particular circumstances. We have memory banks which deal with odours, sounds, colours, cold, hot, light, dark, time, special events, conditions and injuries. Many are stored in connective tissue, particularly in fascia, ligaments and joint capsules. Many things can trigger memories, a tree, a dark alley, a sound, a dark and stormy night, etc., and depending on the particular stimulus, we can even ‘relive’ the event.

Some time ago investigators recognized certain eye movements when someone made an effort to access certain memories. These eye movements were ultimately catalogued and eventually Neuro Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.) was born. If we look at REM sleep, we see this phenomenon at work.

During the transition between alpha and beta (brain wave) sleep levels, our eyes go into a rapid motion, “looking into all corners” to access the memories of the day’s events. If certain memories are painful and have some “sharp or rough edges” we tend to bite down or grind our teeth to dull the painful experience, so that if we ever go looking for it in the future it will not “cut” us again. (Defensive TMJ Complex). In this way we process the day’s activity, grind off any “sharp” edges and put it away in the proper file drawers, to allow us to function in the new day, unencumbered by yesterday.

Sometimes memories are activated by an associated factor such as two or more separate incidents occurring under similar conditions ie: in the dark, night, dawn or dusk or cold etc. This is very important when we are looking for ways to clear a person both physically and emotionally. I think that most today will not argue that physical health greatly depends upon how we handle our emotional life.

Sometimes, if you are dealing with any chronic condition, it helps to remember the earliest time we are aware of any symptoms. If you think about or verbalise the event, you can uncover many hidden deficits and/or get better information for proper treatment. In many cases just the verbalising in detail while doing an activity of some kind (sitting, standing, bending, turning over, walking, etc.) will make dramatic corrections in the condition with the treatment.

It has been said that the eyes are the windows of your soul. True, but the eyes are very specifically the windows of your computer banks, the physical and emotional memory banks. Different eye directions access different memories. A rule of thumb is that emotional things are accessed from one direction of the eyes, whereas learned and physical memories or processes are stored in the eye’s fascia starting from another direction. Using the direction of eye placement, we can further break down the directions of the emotional computer as to intensity. The fascia of the eye muscles is the limiting factor to this phenomenon. It seems that the trigger to the particular memory bank is located in this tiny bit of connective tissue. Stretching the tissue seems to open the forgotten memory bank and release the information for reprocessing or to break an inhibition to something.

Through Kinesiology N.O.T ., access to the Emotional Computer can be gained. – that is, Emotional and learned memories can be accessed.

For example, sometimes there is a link to an earlier event which locks the problem into the body. This link is tied to the physical or emotional problem by a particular event such as father, mother, father’s day, anniversary etc., or circumstances such as dark, pitch black, cold etc.

Another example might be where a traumatic incident in the dark or at night etc., can be directly related to a Scoliosis or other physical problem tied to a past incident or trauma which occurred in the dark or at night etc. prior to a second trauma which occurred under similar circumstances or by remembering the first time that awareness of the problem or something like it, occurred.
